Speakers, Presentations and Forums
AUS has had a number of speakers visit us, including representatives from the ALF-CIO, Operation Smile (a charity organization), Dr. Maria Anna Marshall (specialist on Law, Crime, and Sociology), and more. We were fortunate enough to have the director of the bureau of homeless services in Illinois, Brenda Hanbury, come speak as well. Other talks have been given by Judith Pintar and Dr. Kendall and prominent members of the Sociology club. We joined with the Feminist Majority for the Face of Feminism Panel Discussion in 2005.
