JAG85.com is an umbrella web site that includes a multitude of sites for personal, organizational, and academic use. Everything here is designed, organized, and managed by Jeff Ginger. All web sites included as links from the gateway site (root: www.jag85.com) are considered subsidiaries and are regulated by the following statements and qualifications thereof.
JAG-wire.net should and can be used interchangably with JAG85. That is, any and all of the statements and assertions below apply to JAG-wire.net.
Privacy Statement
I take your privacy seriously. I am committed to protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected about anyone who visits my web site or any subsidiary sites. It remains my policy and commitment not to distribute, sell, rent or in any way make available your name, email address or other personal information to any third party without your prior written consent. At this point in time this web site and all subsidiary web sites collect no personally identifiable information about visitors.

If you visit our site to browse, read, or download, my server automatically collects and store only non-personally identifiable information about you, consisting only of:

All content material on JAG85.com and subsidiary web sites should be unique and original, or open source publicly available material. Citations should be given to any material referenced or used as a supporting agent for a publication. Stipulations below:
- This policy is strictly enforced and should be adamantly adhered to with all organizational and academic web sites
- Many web sites and pages here are older, they may not have been screened for original content, by all means let me know if I missed something!
- Personal web sites, specifically JAG85.com Pictures and JAG85.com Editorials are more informal be advised that they will not be strictly regulated or screened
Site Design and Layout
Web site designs for JAG85.com and JAG85.com Subsidiaries should fall under one of two categories:
- Completely original graphic content and layout design
- Hybrid graphic content and design based off of SiteStudio templates provided as a service by my web host, Infinology. ALL HYBRID DESIGNS SHOULD BE SIGNIFICANTLY MODIFIED AND RECODED. I've done my best to meet web compliance standards and eliminate any unoriginal graphical and design content. As usual, the site is perpetually under construction.
Pictures and Photography
Photographs on JAG85.com Pictures are all unique and original and belong to myself or other individuals have given permission for their public use.
If you have any comments, questions, or complaints about graphical materials or site designs please let me know immediately so I can resolve the issue in a timely manner.
Code and Scripting
Any and all HTML (or CSS, XHTML, javascript, etc...) code is open for use however and by whoever.
Accountability and Responsibility
Jeff Ginger should be held accountable for content, design, organization, and management of JAG85.com and related subsidiaries. Some other individuals may contribute to content, photographs, or other minor site materials, but Jeff should be held primarily responsible for everything here.
No organization or academic institution can be held responsible for or considered directly connected to or formally an authority of material on JAG85.com and subsidiaries. This includes, but is not limited to, the Sociology Department at UIUC, the AASRP at UIUC, the University of Chicago Alumni Association, The National Feminist Majority Organization, Amnesty International, Beckwith Hall and DRES of UIUC, Allen or Snyder University Housing Residence Halls, or any other national or international organizations or institutions.
JAG85.com Non-Subsidiaries and Exemptions
Any websites included in folders with the root jag85.com are formally considered JAG85.com Subsidiaries unless one or both of the following conditions are satisfied:
- Said websites or folders in question are specifically and publicly designated as exempt from the JAG85.com copyright
- The website or content is designated as an Unofficial JAG85.com Subsidiary
Formal Designation
If a web page is marked as a JAG85.com Subsidiary then it is considered a part of the official website and thus falls under all conditions of copyright above. These websites, however, may be managed or accessed by individuals other than myself and thus may require special permissions or conditions for usage of material.
Unofficial Subsidiaries
These consist of websites designed and occasionally updated by myself but run by other individuals or organizations. Many of them will be located on other servers and should be considered to have their own set of copyright and privacy policies.
