My Web Portfolio Site

I wanted to create a web portfolio site that was easy to use but effectively displayed my design skills. Designs are sorted in terms of originality/authorship as well as category. Most artists include just their best and most diverse work in their portfolio, I instead chose to include virtually everything to show my dedicatin and experience, as well as the progression of my skills.

The home page greets users with a pretty flashy video (creating a design in fast-forward) and fast-paced thumbnail glimpses of many of my designs. They can click on whatever strikes them as worth investigating. I wanted to ensure that users without new browsers and fast internet connections could peruse the site, however, and have designed the bulk of it with standard graphics.

I wanted the color and feel of the site to be friendly but not distracting, thus the soft gray and white with hints of orange.
