What People Do is a documentary about the Illini 4000, a groupt that bicycled across the US to raise money and awareness to fight cancer. The film goes beyond just illuminating the lives and personalities of the riders, however. It captures the true diversity of America, the perils of our discriminatory healthcare system, and most of all, the good spirited nature of the many individuals whom the riders met along the way. Cancer unifies us - it is a common enemy but also a reason to work together and find ways to not only fight the disease, but give everyone access to a cure.
